| Artist Biography: Joe Shymanski
Joe Shymanski is a Washington DC based fine art, architectural and portrait photographer who sells his prints on the weekends at the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill. Joe's popularity is quickly rising amongst local photography lovers. He has won several awards for his portraits of dogs since he began shooting them in 1998. For nearly ten years previous to his work as a pet portrait photographer, he trained at a studio in Michigan, shooting portraits of people. As much as he enjoys humans, he much prefers to spend time capturing the glances and smiles on dogs. *Joe also shoots cats, enthusiastically.
