About The Artist: Antonia Macedo
ARTIST STATEMENT

Antonia Macedo is a New Zealand artist living in Washington DC. She holds degrees in music and law and studied photography at the Corcoran College of Art. She enjoys capturing the colors and textures of any image where she sees beauty, and often focuses on the beauty of decay.

An award winning photographer her work has been in many juried and invitational all media or photography exhibitions. During the past three years she has had 8 solo exhibits. See next page for the latest newspaper review.

Last year she was invited to represent New Zealand in the International 2004 Olympics Art exhibit.

Her work is in private collections in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the UK, and in permanent public and corporate collections.

Her prints are high quality archival Ilfochrome Classic prints made directly from the original 35 mm slide. The images are not digitally manipulated or computer altered.

Editions are limited to 25 or 10 and may be purchased framed or unframed.
