CURRENT EXHIBIT:

POP!

This month will be the final exhibit for Evolve Urban Arts Project in 2004 and we're determined to finish this year with our best show ever. Visitors are in for a very special treat! Our featured artist is Skip Lowney who will be displaying his works on the third and fourth floors of the Marday Building. Skip uses bold, rich colors to initially attract the viewer and texture to elicit a sustained look. "A quick glance at the familiar reassures us", says Lowney "but deeper inspection reveals the embedded iconography, and we educe our own associations with each piece."

Special Guests will include Eric DeWaardt and Laurent Weibel from the National Symphony Orchestra who will be preforming a selection of Violin & Viola duets by composers Martinu and Handel-Halvorsen. The performance is free and open to the public.

A Continental Brunch with Coffee, Juice, Champagne and Mimosas will be served.
